- Consider Bay Park, Linda Vista, Old Town, Mission Hills and Mission Valley. San Diego area beaches are ~6 miles from campus. These include: Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and Ocean Beach.

- The USD Manchester Village Apartments are shared (same gender) suites. Suites are NOT air-conditioned. You are encouraged to bring your own fan.
- They provide single, 2 or 4 bedroom suites (requests not accepted.) Each participant has a private bedroom and a private bathroom with a shared central living room and kitchen. Individual bedrooms do not lock. The apartments are located on the east side of campus, .6 miles from the west campus (where classes are held,) a pleasant stroll.
