Online for the Summer of 2021 The College Board is allowing us once again to host our Advanced Placement Summer Institutes (APSIs) online for the summer of 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.We hope to back in person again for the summer of 2022. All of our AP Summer Institutes will be ONLINE this summer. They will consist of both synchronous and asynchronous work. Please reach out if you have any questions and or concerns. Thank you for understanding. Our goal is to maintain a safe educational experience for you and our instructors, while providing you with the same relevant and high quality Advanced Placement training that you need.
The Advanced Placement Summer Institutes are designed to support all aspects of AP courses, including methodology, curriculum, class assignments and examinations, as well as providing strategies for teaching AP.
Please consider attending if you are a high school teacher who:
Participants should be knowledgeable in the content area, even if they are teaching an AP course for the first time. The institutes are not appropriate for inexperienced teachers.
FACULTY & STAFF
The Institutes are taught by expert AP instructors, readers, test designers, and university faculty with experience in AP, who have been endorsed by The College Board. Our dedicated and instructors come back year after.
Our administrative staff who organize and run this event are available to help with any questions that may arise.
HOUSING & FACILITIES -Housing and 0n Campus Facilities are not available this year. All AP Summer Institutes will be ONLINE for the 2021 Summer.
All of our Institutes are held in the new Antonucci Science Complex, in our state of the art laboratory and classroom spaces
For those wishing to stay on campus, we offer comfortable, air conditioned, rooms in one of our Mara Village residence halls. The building includes multiple meeting rooms, a common space, a centralized kitchen, and laundry facilities.

Fitchburg State University is ideally located in North Central MA, and is easily accessible by car, bus, or train from all areas of New England.
