2021 APSI at the University of Georgia ONLINE - Week 1


Questions & Answers

Question: What is the schedule for the APSI Online at UGA?

Each week will run on the same schedule. Classes will begin promptly at 9:00am on Monday morning.

The workshops run from Monday through Friday from 9:00am ET to 4:00pm ET with breaks in between the AM & PM sessions. The time spent for synchronous and asynchronous session will vary based on instructor preference.



Question: Where can I find more information on my consultant and the specific workshop I am attending?

Our university website has links to information sheets where each consultant has provided information on what they will cover during the workshop as well as their biographical information. You can access this at the APSI at UGA website.

Question: How will I receive my workshop binder?

Workshop binders will be shipped directly to all U.S. based participants by the CollegeBoard, make sure that you provide us with the correct shipping address (home address is preferred). 


However, all international participants will receive the electronic version to guarantee timely receipt of the materials. 

The APSI will not be shipping any materials or supplies. If you are attending a science workshop, you will be responsible for gathering the required supplies to participate in the workshop.

If we receive your registration 14 days before the workshop begins, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your CollegeBoard materials on time.

Question: What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations received on or before Monday, May 24th, 2021 at 3:00pm ET will be refunded, minus a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be issued thereafter, though school systems may substitute another teacher for a paid participant in the same course.

To change your registration, email apsi@georgiacenter.uga.edu, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm ET. Cancellations should be sent in writing to apsi@georgiacenter.uga.edu 

Most courses require a minimum enrollment of 10 participants. Courses with insufficient enrollment will be addressed on or before May 28th, 2021. Participants will be notified by email if their course has low enrollment and will be advised of the action being taken. 

If a course is cancelled, participants will be notified by email, and full refunds will be processed and submitted to the individual or school who paid the registration fee
