The AP Project Based Learning Series is designed to help teachers transition to an engaging, student-centered instructional model. By focusing on projects that align directly with the AP course framework, the series ensures students master required content through hands-on discovery.

The AP Project Based Learning Series offers continuous professional development throughout the academic year to ensure you have the tools and community needed for success.

What’s Included:

  • Comprehensive Implementation Guides: Access adaptable planning resources, pacing calendars, and recommended assessments that cover the entire course.
  • AP Summer Institute (APSI): Complete 30 hours of intensive professional learning over four days, featuring deep dives into instructional materials.
  • Ongoing Support Sessions: Participate in five optional, 90-minute online sessions held during the school year.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Choose from multiple dates and times for evening sessions to best fit your personal and teaching schedule. 
  • AP Summer Institute: Earn 3 CEUs upon completion of the 4-day workshop.
  • School Year Sessions: Opportunity to earn further CEUs for each support session attended.

Your registration fee provides comprehensive value, covering the full 30 contact hours of the AP PBL Summer Institute along with all additional contact hours for the follow-up support sessions. Our AP PBL workshop sessions will be held in-person at UC Riverside Extension. Please note that as part of our green initiative, we have transitioned to digital-only materials. We recommend bringing a laptop or tablet to access all session resources.
