The Building Your AP Program Webinar Series is designed to support that work, introducing the new AP® Course Sets as a practical way to match AP courses to the priorities you are already pursuing, whether that is expanding access with a first AP course, adding a nationally recognized AP signal to your honors courses, or bringing college-level AP courses into your CTE pathways. Each session gives those who shape course offerings, from district leaders and content specialists to school leaders and AP coordinators, a clear starting point for building a program that reflects local goals.
This session, Career Kickstart, begins with the students who want their learning to connect to real careers. We will introduce AP Career Kickstart™, a new group of AP courses (AP Business with Personal Finance and AP Cybersecurity, both launching in 2026 to 2027) designed to fit into existing CTE pathways and show how they bring college-level learning into high-demand fields while inviting a broader range of students into advanced coursework. You will leave with strategies to build your AP program focused on career-connected learning, including how these courses fit alongside your CTE programs of study and how students can earn college credit along with an employer-endorsed credential, so more students can pursue a path that leads to college, credentials, and in-demand careers.
