How much does the institute cost and what's included?
Tuition is $875. It includes one set of digital materials, daily lunch and refreshments, as well a Welcome Breakfast on June 15, 2026.
How do I register?
Registration for the Arizona AP Summer Institute is a two step process:
Step 1: COURSE SELECTION - By clicking the Register for this APSI button at the top of the screen, you will be directed to the registration page. You will be prompted to log in to College Board before being redirected to the registration page. Have your College Board log in information ready and complete the registration process. Save the registration confirmation number you receive upon completing your registration.
NOTE: Contact College Board support at 1-877-922-6273 Option 2 then option 1, if you have any problems logging in to your CB account.
Step 2: COURSE PAYMENT - Click on the Credit Card Payment button at the bottom of this page or the Tuition Tab above. You will need the registration confirmation number to process your payment. In order to finalize your registration, your payment must be received no later than 6/5/2026.
How do I know I am registered for the APSI?
All registrants will receive an email with a confirmation number. This number is needed to submit your payment, complete the registration process, and/or make any changes or cancel your registration.
NOTE: Confirmation emails may go to your SPAM folder.
When is the payment due?
Deadline for payments is June 5, 2025. You will need your registration confirmation number to process your payment.
How can I pay?
Your payment must be made after you complete your registration and receive a registration confirmation number. Please do not attempt to make a payment without your confirmation number.

How do I to make a change or cancel my registration?
Please note that the cancellation and refund policy applies to all registrations. If your plans change, you must update or cancel your registration through your College Board account (the same account used to register).
Any active registration at the start of the APSI will be subject to the full registration fee if it has not been canceled.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made on or before April 10, 2026 will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between April 11 - May 8, 2026 will receive a 50% refund. No refund will be issued for cancellations made on or after May 9, 2025.
Where can I find a discount rate for hotels?
AZ APSI lodging recommendations will be posted soon. In the mean time, you are welcome to explore hotel options on your own.
Do I need supplies?
Your digital materials will be emailed to you before the start of the course, printed copies will not be provided. Here's a list of the items to bring with you to this APSI:
- Laptop or tablet (for MacBooks please bring your dongle)
The following sessions have Special Requirements:
- AP Chemistry: Protective Eyewear (ANSI Z87), close toed shoes, & calculator.
- AP Statistics: Laptop/tablet, TI-84 or TI-83 graphing calculator, AP Statistics book if already selected
- AP Spanish Lit: Laptop, 38 works - Azulejo or Reflexiones
- AP Physics 2: Laptop, school calendar, textbook/e-book, calculator
- AP Human Geo: Post It notes & highlighters
- AP Computer Science A: Devices to code
- AP Government: Laptop/tablet, headset/earbuds, access to Google drive, school's 26/27 academic calendar, copy of textbook currently using or plan to use, favorite lesson or best practice o share.
Classrooms may be a little chilly. We strongly recommend bringing a light sweater.
Will I receive a certificate for attending this course?
Yes, participants that complete the program and submit a payment in full, will receive an AP Summer Institute certificate in person at the conclusion of the APSI or via email.
Note: This course does not grant graduate studies university credit.
What if I miss part of the institute?
Attendance is taken daily. Teachers are required to attend all 30 hours of instruction.
