Augsburg University One-Day Workshop - ONLINE
Augsburg is excited to be offering these robust 1-day workshops. These workshops are designed for new or experienced educators who are currently in an AP classroom. Our online workshops will be offered over Zoom for the entirety of the time noted on the website (minus breaks). In total, you can expect to be on Zoom for close to 6 hours during the day. These workshops are designed to be interactive!!
These workshops are designed for in-year support while a teacher is in the classroom for a specific AP subject. These workshops will all have College Board endorsed consultants for their specific content area.
Augsburg is uniquely placed in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Augsburg's campus is located in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis. This area has a vibrant richness and culture from having a large community of diverse residents. It offers a thriving arts scene, ethnic restaurants, grocery markets, retail and coffee shops. The campus is very close to Dinkytown, the East Bank and East Town (home of the Vikings stadium).
Details for the Online Workshops
We will be utilizing Moodle as the Learning Management System (LMS) for this workshop. You will receive access to Moodle starting on Thursday, November 5th. If you still have an outstanding balance, you will not receive access to Moodle until we have receive a payment or a PO from the school district. All workshops will begin at 8:30 am and will all be done synchronously through Zoom with Moodle serving as a site for connecting to the course and for additional support materials.
8:30 am: Classes Begin on Zoom with access information available on Moodle
10:00 am - 10:30 am: Workshops will break for 15-minutes in this window of time
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Workshops will break for a 45-minute lunch period
3:30 pm: Classes end, and the 6 Hour CEU certificate will be sent by the following Monday via email.
