AP Capstone Information
Teachers of AP Capstone™ courses—AP Seminar and AP Research—are required to take part in professional development the summer before their first-year teaching either course.
The 30-hour workshops train teachers on delivering interdisciplinary instruction, supporting student research, and facilitating project-based assessments.

All sessions will take place at our beautiful Lake Shore Campus in Chicago, Illinois (map).
Schedule
Check-in will be between 7:30am - 8:00m on Monday, July 6
Sessions will be held:
- 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday, July 6 - Thursday, July 9
Room & Board
The registration fee includes lunch, and morning and afternoon refreshments, Monday through Thursday.

Certificates & CPDUs
All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance following the successful completion of their workshop (minimum 30 contact hours or 3.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)*. In addition to that, participants will receive 30 Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs): Loyola is an approved Professional Development Provider for the Illinois State Board of Education.
*Participants with teaching licenses in Pennsylvania or Washington must follow the steps outlined on the Continuing Education Units (CEUs) Frequently Asked Questions page to have their earned hours accepted by their state.
