This  APSI is completely Online.

The LMS system being used will be Zoom and Google Suite products. The program takes place at the comfort and safety of your home.

This  Advanced Placement Summer Institute is a program that offers high school teachers the opportunity to improve their skills through short workshop courses, offered for graduate credit or audit.

You will be able to get certified by the college board from the comfort and safety of your home.
This methodology course surveys the basic structure and content necessary for teaching an Advanced Placement  course.

Special attention is paid to teaching strategies, the AP exam and its grading. Some lab experiments suitable for AP classes are incorporated into the course.
Participants will have the opportunity to perform several lab exercises that align with the College Board redesign. Best practices will be discussed. 

For each of the lab science sessions,  AP published related Labs will be Provided and Reviewed.

Information about the requirements for the AP  Course Audit will be shared.

Participants receive examples of past AP exams, appropriate tests, worksheets and lab experiments.

While our courses focus on curricular, pedagogical development, review of Advanced Placement course, exam material for new and experienced teachers, the opportunity to connect with fellow educators offered by the Institute is equally valuable.

As a participant, you will discuss and share teaching methods and materials, all while gaining graduate credit and/or personal development hours.

This APSI is completely online. All lectures will be telecast live via Zoom. The LMS systems we will use is Google Suite.

All our courses will provide upon completion a College Board Certified Certificate of Completion which states you have completed 30 hours of training in the specific science course for course audit and IACET. 

All participants must have cameras on during lecture, complete all asynchronous activities and must partake in team activities to receive credit of completion.

We also Provide exclusive NYSED CTLE CREDIT  CERTIFICATE for NY from NYS CTLE certificates .

Our consultants are well versed veterans in online presentations and mastering the AP exams methodology.

We also provide Education Graduate Credit from Manhattanville College which is transferable to your institution .
