AP® Spanish Language & Culture in Seville 1 week @ MundoLengua
This intensive five-day institute is designed for language teachers who teach or plan to teach the AP Spanish Language and Culture course. Participants will design and refine a complete course plan aligned with the revised exam and course updates for 2026–2027, explore authentic materials and activities, and share strategies and best practices in a highly collaborative environment.
In this institute, you will learn how to design and develop an effective course in AP® Spanish Language and Culture, while experiencing one of the most historic and culturally important sites in Spain, the ancient city of Seville.
The topics of the workshop include developing, integrating, and building proficiency across the three modes of communication, teaching AP® Spanish Language and Culture across themes; using authentic resources for thematic unit design; developing vocabulary skills; using project-based learning as a way to integrate and develop language skills; and applying the scoring criteria to student samples.
Meanwhile, you will enhance your portfolios of teaching strategies, earn graduate credits from the University of California at Riverside, and receive an AP® teacher certificate from the College Board.
